Do you jump on each passing phase and rearrange your life or your house? Do you watch the world changing and take bits that you can see helping your life and make them work for you?
I like to think I only take the bits as they unfold in front and around me that make me feel inspired and add to my goals, the way I want to live my life and what makes me happy.
My children motivate me to be a better person. However they also inspire me to live a healthier life. Exercise is something I have always loved. I can be a little competitive and love a good team sport, a good social sport as well. But I also reached a point where I was overweight and unhappy and started to add changes to be healthier and fitter. Women around me, on the TV, on blogs that were all doing it their way inspired me.
I want to be a more organised and tidier person. I feel stressed with lots and lots of clutter. I have to be inspired in our home on our very small budget. Same with the garden. But small changes make big differences and I have found some bloggers have really helped me define my style by merging lots of ideas. I also love to talk gardening but I am just learning how to do it all. These conversations with others really help to realise that gardening is actually pretty cool (for me). Lots to learn, but so many ideas.
What I am struggling to find inspiration for is my career, my future in the workplace. Living where I do I struggle with the limited job opportunities and ability to retrain. Online university courses are great if you have the internet it needs. So I’m looking for inspiration, in every direction. Something will come along I know but in the meantime I need to just be happy with where I am in life and keep moving forward.
